About Me

Hi, I’m Daby Kio , founder of GIG Web Consulting.

I started this company out of a shared passion for helping schools and districts thrive in the digital world. With a B.S. in Computer Engineering and an MBA, I’ve spent years working with a variety of content management systems. This hands-on experience allows me to help schools not just build websites or apps, but create tools that truly serve students, teachers, and families.

The inspiration for GIG Web Consulting came from my family. My wife, a former teacher who transitioned into EdTech, and I have seen firsthand the challenges schools face: juggling multiple platforms, managing communication systems, and trying to keep everything updated while also focusing on teaching and learning. We realized there was a real need for technical expertise that could support schools without adding to their workload.
